In my blog posts this year, I am going to focus more on providing helpful content that will assist my clients in their everyday lives. In my last post here, my goal was to help my maternity clients. I introduced you to 6 different locations to get prenatal massages. I know how stressful pregnancy can be, both on your mental and your physical being, so a prenatal massage can be an experience to help relieve some of the stress. Today, I’m going to give my top recommendation for a San Diego pregnancy massage!

Let’s meet Brenda!

I want to introduce you to one specific business that provides these services, and deserves a little bit more of the spotlight. Meet Brenda Goodell from Going Ga-Ga Pregnancy Massage. I went to visit her at her studio in Bankers Hill, near downtown San Diego. She provides the following services: Pre and post natal bodywork, reiki, CranioSacral for birth trauma remediation, Theta Healing, Infant Massage classes. Not only does she have a long history as a holistic health practitioner with decades of experience, but she’s received the formal education and training from an array of relevant and reputable institutions. On top of that, she is a kind-hearted, generous soul with beautiful energy. And when it comes to relaxing and healing, she is exactly the kind of person you want providing those services. As a bonus, she is gifting my readers with something special, so keep reading to find out what!

How she got started…

When I asked her how she got started, it all began as a hobby when she was just 23. She was curious about what made a massage amazing. She went on to figure it out. Once she did, she had to be convinced by friends and family to make it her profession. Decades later and she’s happy to say that she still loves this work. And based on her clients’ satisfaction, I’d say the profession suits her perfectly and that her friends and family helped the San Diego community by helping push her in the right direction.

How she stands out from the rest…

I asked Brenda what’s unique about her service that others may not provide. She responded with: “My years of experience, applied training and consistent learning has really expanded my knowledge to provide my clients with the most relevant and personalized care in the industry. I have a carefully curated supply of organic exotic oils and butters from all over the world! I love sharing my passion for herbal therapy – the plant allies add another dimension to the treatments!”

Her advice…

And finally, I want to include her advice to expectant mothers:

“Please be easy on yourself and practice self compassion. As much as possible – trust yourself. Try learning a simple process called “Hearth Math” to self soothe. You’ll get the hang of parenting – trust and believe that! Let love lead you.”
