I have been writing posts to help families decide on what to wear and where to buy clothing for their photo sessions. Now that I have featured places to shop for women’s clothing for photo sessions (if you missed those posts, I’ll link them below), let’s move on to the rest of the family. Once mama’s clothing is figured out, I like to move on to planning wardrobe for the kids in the family. I have 2 boys and a girl myself, so from a personal standpoint, I know how hectic it can be to get everything picked out for both genders. But based on my own personal experience and working with clients to help their families, I can help. If you’re looking for a photo shoot dress for girl, you’ve come to the right spot for one of my favorite recommendations!
There are a number of stores that I like to recommend where you can buy girls clothing as well as the whole family. I will separate those stores into a different post for anyone who likes one-stop shopping. If you’re looking for girl’s dresses in particular, then the store I love recommending is:
Joyfolie
The recommendations that I have for women apply to girls as well. The long flowing dresses look just as beautiful on them too. However, there are other options that work perfectly as well.
Sizes.
Joyfolie has clothing from size 2 to size 14, so it fits a wide range. If you’re looking for sizes 2 – 5, you’ll want to look in the section called “Ma Petite.” If you’re wanting sizes 6-14, the section called “Jeune Fille” is where you want to check out.
Prices.
In the top border of Joyfolie’s website, there is a tab you can click on for deals. I usually find a discount of anywhere between 30 and 50% off. If you don’t see it, you can try holding off a bit because they run their flash sales often. I have signed up for their emails and I get their promotional sale notifications often. In addition to that, there is almost always free shipping with a minimum order purchase. When you get a flash sale for 50% off, the prices of the dresses are very affordable for the quality of dress you receive.
Styles.
There is such a wonderful range in the type of clothing you can get from Joyfolie. The fabrics, the textures, and the colors are all so gorgeous and they photograph very well. Not only are the dresses beautiful, but the jumpsuits, tops, skirts, and cardigans.
Twirl Factor.
The twirl factor on their dresses is a 10 out of 10! If your daughter loves to twirl and move, the movement you get from these dresses is beautiful!
