If you’ve been following along my blog posts recently, you’ll know that I’ve been featuring a few of my favorite stores to buy women’s clothing for photo sessions. This is the final part in this series. My goal has been to help my clients figure out what to wear. If this information has been helpful, I’ll write up more posts for other stores. After I wrap up this post, I will be sharing other posts about kids’ and men’s clothing.
When it comes to maxi dresses, there are so many options out there on the web. However, buyer beware that the quality of the dresses sold online are not equal, despite what the pictures may look like online. This online store has a lot of wonderful quality options though. And the nice bonus is that the prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality.
So let me introduce you to the final store of where I like to recommend women’s clothing – Lulus
Lulus accommodates all sizes and for any occasion – vacation, formal, graduation, prom, night out, and everything in between. Whether you’re shopping for a couples, maternity, or family session, you’re bound to find something. You’ll find clothing options for a more casual vibe as well as options for a dressier session.
So much variety.
Another thing I love is the range in clothing options that Lulus offers for women of all ages and all sizes. With sizes ranging from XXS to 3X, there are a variety of styles to flatter any woman’s body. For maxi dresses alone, there are over 800 to choose from. There are options that work beautifully for a session on the beach, field, bluffs, park, lake, and pretty much anywhere you’d want to have a photo shoot. They’ve done an excellent job in categorizing all of their dresses too, with great filters to help narrow it down. Make a selection based on size, color, price, dress type, neckline, sleeve length, and even dress length.
Getting married?
For those women who just got engaged, Lulus has a whole dedicated wedding section with clothing options separated by event – bridal dresses for the wedding, engagement, bridal shower, bachelorette party, rehearsal dinner, reception, and even honeymoon. There are dresses for the bridesmaids too.
Prices.
Lulus prices are very reasonable. There’s a whole section of dresses under $50. At the time this post was written, there were 617 options in that category! You can find maxi dresses on sale as low as $15 They have always has some sort of sale. They also have a “Refer a Friend” program.
