I covered clothing for girls here in this post, but now I want to cover clothing options for the youngest ones in your family. I know there is an endless supply of adorable clothing for newborns, babies, and toddlers, but I’m going to focus on 2 in particular in this post.
Let’s start with my favorite store:
The Simple Folk
Styles. My favorite thing about the items from The Simple Folk is the versatility in clothing options. There are so many non-gender specific items that work great for both girls and boys. If only I had this option when I had my firstborn son, I would have saved everything and used it again for my daughter, especially since the quality is amazing.
Quality and Sustainability. I have yet to find a children’s line of clothing that is as thoughtful about their process in selecting and creating their items as The Simple Folk. Not only do they use soft, durable, toxin-free fabrics and dyes, but the clothing is made in an ethical way. If you want to read more, you can find it here.
Prices. Items in this store are priced higher than other baby clothing stores, but it’s similar to the expression of “you get what you pay for” and what you get is very good, high quality clothing, free of chemical and toxins.
Tip – if you sign up for email, you can get 20% off your first purchase and free shipping over $75.
The next store I want to feature is one that you can shop at in person or online:
Carter’s
Carter’s is a well known brand that’s been around for ages. I wore Carter’s clothing when I was a baby! But they have evolved their brand and launched a new line just last year in 2021 called Little Planet that uses organic fabrics and sustainable materials. I love this line for those reasons but also because it has a ton of adorable options.
Their rompers and jumpsuits are just the perfect one-piece item for your little one and come in a variety of colors. Two of my favorites are the Organic cotton gauze jumpsuit and the organic cotton gauze overall jumpsuit.
