Hi there, I’m Kim! If you’re new to my page, I want to welcome you. I am thrilled you found me and hope that you’ll enjoy viewing my images as much as I enjoy taking them. Take a moment to check out my pages and if you have any questions at all, please feel free to reach out.
In starting this business a year and a half ago, I’ve learned that it’s sometimes very challenging to navigate all avenues of it. I’m a creative and love shooting and editing images. I’m also pretty analytical and have my MBA, so the business side is something I enjoy as well. However, trying to juggle both, all the time, can be very difficult. I have a ton of ideas I want implement on the business end, but it’s all a balance with the creative side. I tend to be a bit more active on Instagram, which has left this blog, my Facebook page, and my Pinterest page a little neglected. However, I plan to change that and create a better balance (as with all things in life, that’s the goal!).
Two big things I want to share.
First, I made a top 12 list! PeerSpace (which is like an Airbnb for production, event, and meeting spaces) recently created a list for the 12 Best Portrait Photographers in San Diego. And I made the list! Click on the article and scroll down to #12 and you’ll see my Instagram account with a lovely write-up they did as well.
Second, I was also recently interviewed by Communal Faire, which is a wonderful community for photographers by an amazing husband and wife duo behind Pasquariello Design. They asked a wide range of questions from how I got started in the business and what inspires me, to what my favorite candy bar is and what color crayon I would be.
