40 over 40 Portrait Experience

I am super excited to share a new offering/portfolio with you and invite anyone you know who fits the criteria to be a part of it! Who fits the criteria? Any woman who is over the age of 40. She can be a newly turned 40-year-old all the way through her 90s! And if you know someone who is 100 or over, I will gift this session to her for free!!

So what is the 40 over 40 Portrait Experience?

It’s a chance for a woman to have a unique, empowering, pampering experience. She’ll enjoy the opportunity to get professional hair and makeup done by my beauty team, followed by a celebrity style, glamorous photo shoot. I’ll work with her on wardrobe and styling options leading up to her session. And then after the photo shoot, she’ll have a chance to look at the different products that I offer. She’ll have an opportunity to hold them and look through the options. We will then set up a reveal session, where she can meet me in my studio again or meet virtually to go through her images. I will walk her through different a la carte options and my collection packages that I offer. Additionally, she will be featured in my Portrait Experience magazine where I will highlight all 40 women. This is a wonderful opportunity to highlight something near and dear to her, and what makes her unique.

Every woman who has experienced this photo shoot with me has absolutely loved it. This didn’t start out as a 40 over 40 project. It started out just wanting to feature and uplift women. As I started doing more, I learned about this worldwide campaign and decided it was the perfect way for me to continue doing more of these portrait sessions, but in a way that would be even more meaningful.

Why only women who are over 40?

Our society and culture truly reveres young women. We see it in TV, movies, magazines, and social media. Bodies, skin, faces, hair… there are so many products to help older women look younger. It comes in the form of various creams, pills, diets, programs, etc. But instead of fighting this aging process, why not embrace it? Why not celebrate it? This is why this project is so important. I want to empower women at this age to celebrate who they’ve become, who they are now, in the bodies they have now. You are leaving a legacy of what’s more than what’s on the surface. You embody so much more! And these images will capture that essence!
